Interview With Ankit Singla From BloggerTipsTricks & MasterBlogging

Q: Please introduce yourself to BloggeRoundup readers?

I am a Blogger from India. I have been blogging for 9 years. I started blogging in my college days and today it is my full-time profession that allows me to make money online.

The best thing is, not only I make money blogging but I also help others do the same by sharing my blogging experiences and learnings on two of my blogs BloggerTipsTricks.com and MasterBlogging.com.

If you are new to blogging, consider reading my blogs for some actionable blogging tips.

Q: What inspired you to start BloggerTipsTricks?

I started my blogging journey on Google’s blogging platform Blogger.com. After running my blog on blogger for almost 4 years, I had learned so many ways to operate the platform. I wanted to help others to learn the platform in the easiest possible way. That’s why I started BloggerTipsTricks.com

Q: What is your life mantra?

You should never stop learning. No matter how well you are doing in your life, career or profession. You should keep learning so that you can serve the community.

Help others to grow because what goes around comes around.

Q: What are your income sources? How much do you make every month at an average?

As I am a full-time blogger, the major chunk of my income comes from my blogs only through affiliate marketing.

I run a few YouTube channels as well that also contribute in my online income which is quite enough to run my businesses on autopilot.

Q: Which revenue source do you think is the most effective for bloggers/marketers?

I have tried using Google Adsense on blogs, publishing sponsored posts, providing services, running YouTube channels and all are a great way to make money online.

But out of all, my favorite is Affiliate Marketing. The reason is, once your content is up and performing well, it sells for you on autopilot which gives the best ROI. And the best thing is, Affiliate income is mostly Passive and sometimes recurring too.

Product creation is also one of the best ways to make money from your blog and increase the RPV (Revenue Per Visitor). A good friend of mine Deepak Kanakaraju from DigitalDeepak.com has made his online empire through product launches only.

Q: Which blogging tools do you use the most and would like to recommend as well?

There are many tools I use but few tools I can’t do blogging without are Ahrefs, Thrive Leads and ActiveCampaign. To know about all the tools I use, check out my blogging tools page.

Q: What’s your SEO tip to stay on top?

Write the content that serves user intent and promote it to gain backlinks. Use 80/20 rule. Spend 20% of your time in writing the content and 80% of your time in promoting it.

Remember off page and on page both are necessary to get the coverage your blog deserves. Follow these On Page SEO techniques and for off page mainly focus on social media promotion and outreach to get backlinks.

Q: Which are the countries you usually target through your content marketing efforts?

I try to go global but most of my traffic comes from India and United States only.

Q: Do you offer any training programs? If yes, on what topic?

I started giving paid training on Blogging including Affiliate Marketing a few months back only. Still working with my first batch.

Q: Are you into vlogging? What has been your experience so far?

Not much. I started doing it almost a year back, gained 5K subs on my YouTube channel as well but the ROI was too less compared to Blogging. So I stopped doing it. But planning to start it again in the coming future.

Q: What plugins do you use for your blog?

Basic plugins like Yoast, VaultPress, W3 Total Cache, Thrive Leads, Social Warfare, and few more.

Q: Share a quote that inspires you the most.

Success comes with experience and experience comes with bad experiences.

So, never stop yourself just because you got a bad experience. It will become the biggest reason of your success in future.

My Real Life Example: Joining a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) company back in 2009 was the biggest mistake of my life but it is the only reason I came to know about Blogging.
